“Dandalup Jett wins maiden final”

Promising youngster Dandalup Jett has improved sharply since switching from Cannington to Mandurah last Tuesday. After being placed in 2 of 5 at the city circuit Dandalup Jett took out his 405m maiden heat from box 8 in a smart 22.80. He followed up with a brilliant win in the final tonight, carving out a fast 6.49 to the first turn before clocking a magnificent 22.59. The David Hobby trained Sunset Wildfire ran on nicely for second ahead of the winner’s full sister Dandalup Lizzy who was third. Dandalup Jett looks set to win plenty of races for owners B and C Moir with those sectionals. He is prepared out of Nambeelup by Tania Thomas.

Race 2 Number 1 WESTDALE NIKITA : Showed terrific strength late to score by half a head in 22.90.
