20210630 – Cannington Wednesday

CHITTERING MIST (My Redeemer- Early Shirley) led throughout from box 1 to record her Maiden win. The Colleen Pierson trained bitch defeated Serial Stalker by 5 1/2 lengths in 22.13.

WAKE UP GEOFF (My Redeemer- Early Shirley) gave trainer Colleen Pierson and the litter an early winning double when he railed through underneath the leader Hindi’s Chance leaving the back straight before racing clear to win by 3 1/2 lengths in a PB 16.07. The red brindle dog won his first Novice from box 8 the previous week before scoring here from box 1.

WEST ON ATLAS (Flying Fired Up- West On Cheryl) recorded a new PB as he led throughout from box 5 in his Maiden win. The Chris Halse trained youngster, who turns two years of age in October, had placed in both of his first two career starts.

20210120 – Cannington Wednesday

FIRE FLY CASPER (Spud Regis- Fire Fly Juliet) led throughout from box 5 at her first try over the distance and won by 1 3/4 lengths over Demon Queen in 16.22. The Glen Currie trained bitch had been placed at her previous 4 starts over the 380 metres. The white and black bitch has won twice from 10 career starts.

TOP FUN (Kinda Cruel Red- Jamaica The Fun) led from box 2 on debut and scored a 1 1/2length Maiden win over Wave Maker in 22.39. The Lexia Isaac trained dog was well supported after a recent third in a qualifying trial behind litter brother Unknown Fun.

BALI SUNSET (Vanderworp- Dubliner) scored an impressive all the way 29.90 Maiden win on debut in the opening heat of the Summer Maiden Classic. The Chris Halse trained youngster had been trialling well before her Maiden victory where she defeated litter brother Ready For Magic by 5 3/4 lengths.
