The Greg Horne trained dog wasn’t the quickest away, however railed perfectly to lead into the back straight before hugging the fence while Global Bliss wobbled wide on the home corner.

VALACHI (Vanderworp- Legit Boss) showed speed from box 8 and with the 7 dog Rippin’ Willy crashing across to the rails, the Margaret Hepple trained dog was able to dictate the race in the lead. The black dog defeated Rippin’ Willy by 6 3/4 lengths in 29.70.
