“Loki Hook impresses at third start for Andrew McLaren”

Promising youngster Loki Hook was strongly supported to take out tonight’s 400m Maiden heat from box two and he didn’t let his backers down. The son of Flying Ricciardo overcame moderate getaways at his first two starts to be the runner up in times of 23.00 and 22.61. This evening he again began fairly before taking the lead at approximately half way. He then cleared away from his rivals to score by five lengths in a smart 22.73. The Glen Price prepared Charlie’s Harley began like a rocket and led before finishing second and three lengths away third was the Eric Campana trained Send It Uno. Loki Hook is owned and trained by Andrew McLaren and the way he hit the line indicates he will rise in distance at some point.

Race 6 Number 2 MOLOTOV BOY : Caught the eye with a fast finishing third over 488m.
