“Marlou Miss cashes in on a very suitable race”
Sometimes greyhounds can jump off the page at punters and this was the case with Marlou Miss tonight in the Essential Refrigeration Services Grade 6. The daughter of Lochinvar Marlow was dropping to a more suitable distance, dropping in grade and also facing a more advantageous box draw (box two). She has drawn boxes 6, 5, 7 and 8 at her previous four outings and had led over 490m and 520m at her two most recent runs. On paper she was simply going to lead and win and with all of those favourable conditions parlayed together she was sent out at a very short $1.40 with the WA TAB. Marlou Miss is trained by Justin Wood and is owned by the Peter Breen managed Four Plus One Syndicate. Later in the night The Dash final (302m) was taken out by the Terry Erenshaw trained Roll Out who has now won 11 of 17 career outings.
