20180530 – Cannington Wednesday

CHIPS AND TRAINS (Collide- Revealed) scored an emotional win on debut at Cannington for trainer Chris Halse and the Legs Eleven Pippa Syndicate. The blue dog found the lead going down the back straight and won by 4 lengths in 30.11. Pippa Rea lost her fight for life as an 11 year old after having an aggressive and incurable brain tumour 21 months earlier. The beautiful little girl would go to the kennels of Chris Halse and Linda Britton and play and name their pups when she was younger and well enough. Her mum Virginia flew over to Perth from Warrnambool to see the race. Funds can be donated to the Robert Connor Dawes Foundation at www.rcdfoundation.org
