“Obstruction chalks up his twentieth victory”

Obstruction has been a money-spinning machine for Enzo Crudeli and the Ten Eighty Syndicate since arriving in WA from Tasmania in February 2016. The son of El Grand Senor won tonight’s Masters event over 405m after settling fifth at the first turn. Despite having traffic problems throughout, the 36kg black dog barged his way through to hit the lead at the top of the straight before racing away to win by a length. Initial leader Morris Memory stuck on well for second ahead of Oakland Raider who finished powerfully along the fence. Obstruction has now started 112 times for 20 wins, 36 minor placings and more than $56,000 in earnings.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 4 Number 3 SAKAMOTO : Jumped well and stuck on well for a gutsy third.

Race 7 Number 1 TAKE A SEAT : Won in powerful fashion over 405m and clocked a promising 22.78.
