“Brad Cook continues fine form with another double”

In form Canning Vale based trainer Brad Cook began tonight’s meeting in a blaze of glory, winning the first two events with Little Dearra and African Leopard. Little Dearra looked very hard to beat over 302m and started an odds-on favourite from box four. She mustered quickly and won by two lengths in a solid 17.36 over the short journey. Race Two was over 405m and after a moderate getaway African Leopard ran to the lead in the middle stages before winning by a length in 23.26. Cook also produced a training double at Northam on Monday with Kuro Lou and Hard Hat Mick both victorious over 297m. He ‘saddles up’ two runners tomorrow night at Mandurah over 405m, Race 6 Number 2 Nagus and Race 7 Number 2 Adele Keeping.

Race 2 Number 2 CON MONELLI : Hit the line hard and will win a Grade 6 soon.
