20170522 – Northam Monday

Where’s Woody rails to Northam win

Gidgegannup based chaser Where’s Woody has always been an honest railer for trainer Murray Stewart. He was only fair to begin from box seven but was able to drop down to the fence at the first turn albeit in fifth position. Charging Bullett and Uncle Pandora both began speedily and were vying for the lead while Bonbie Beauty and Harlan Rocks both fanned wide at the first turn. This allowed Where’s Woody to rail into third position before overtaking Uncle Pandora past the catching pen and finding himself in second. Charging Bullett couldn’t hold out Where’s Woody who went on to score by three lengths in 30.29. His record now stands at 50 starts for 4 wins and 16 minor placings. He is owned by the Greg Dwyer managed 747 Syndicate.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 2 HARD HAT MICK : Was a debut winner over the distance and will only get better at Northam.

Race 7 Number 3 LAGERTHA MONELLI : Proved too good in the front straight and has now won 10 of 38.
