20170504 – Mandurah Thursday

“Let’s Make Bail produces big form turnaround”

Let’s Make Bail turned four years old in March and had been battling in his races, finishing out of the placings at his last six starts over a variety of distances. Tonight he drew box three in the TABtouch Grade 6 over 490m and after a fast getaway was able to dictate terms and lead throughout. The son of El Grand Senor is trained out of the picturesque suburb of Lynwood by Mick McLennan and has now won 5 of his 69 career starts. All lifetime victories have resulted over the 490m distance at Manduran and it’s also worth mentioning that he has been a minor place getter on another 17 occasions. The Henley Brook prepared Golden Mion ran on stoutly but failed to pick up Let’s Make Bail who recorded a solid 27.91. Golden Mion was beaten 0.75 of a length and finished two lengths in front of favourite Spring Bombshell who finished third.

Race 2 Number 2 SO SHIROKURA : Mustered like a rocket to lead and win in 17.22.

Race 6 Number 8 BLACK HERC : Proved too good for favourite Bolt Keeping, winning by a head.
