COBRA CLUTCH (Tauranga Bale- Mini Emily) raced into the record books by taking out the 2017 Greyhounds WA Lee Dorsa Memorial final by 1 3/4 lengths in a PB 29.79. The Jamie Marsh trained dog, bred by Marsh and his family, has now won over $130,000 in stakes and last season won the Gr 3 Consolation of the Perth Cup. Marsh early last month won the Young Achiever of the year award at RWWA Greyhound of the Year awards day.

THUNDER RAMA (Hallucinate- Bananarama) recorded his 42nd win at his 169th start in the Box 1 Restaurant Masters Final. The John Iwanyk trained chaser has a huge following with his will to give his best each week and has now finished in the first 3 placings 108 times in his career. The red fawn dog led from box 5 and finished a touch outside his PB clocking 30.14 at 5 1/2 years of age.

MARYDOLL (Elite State- Flying Sienna) recorded back to back victories for trainer Corey White after leading throughout from box 6. The red fawn bitch clocked a new PB 29.82 in defeating Ess Bee by 5 lengths. The race favourite Senator Monelli began well from box 1, however lost ground quickly after something seemed to go amiss with his action on the first corner.

FRANCE SOIR (Magic Sprite- Magic Capers) ran home well along the rails to claim the leader Dyna Irminus near the line to win by half a length in 34.93. The Paul Stuart trained black dog has now won 4 times from 6 starts over the 600 metres.
