“Collision Bolt fires up for Coldstream”

Experienced bitch Collision Bolt could not have been more impressive in winning tonight’s Elders Insurance Masters Final. Masters races are for greyhounds who are at least four years of age and tonight’s field collectively had a total of 677 race starts and $300,000 in stake earnings between them. Collision Bolt is now prepared out of Harrisdale by Derek Coldstream and at her last 4 starts in October failed to make the podium. She sprinted extremely well tonight with fresh legs, pinging out of the boxes before exploding six lengths in front in the middle stages. Full Chicka, Humphrey Bale and Jimmy Margetts gave pursuit but were no match for Collision Bolt who recorded a sizzling 22.83 for the 405m distance. She is raced by the Windpower Syndicate and has now won 17 of 73 career starts. It was a double for Coldstream who also prepared Winged Crown to a maiden victory earlier in the night. HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 6 WHO’S GOT MONEY : Displayed brilliant box manners to find the lead and score in 23.13.

Race 5 Number 5 JIMMY MARGETTS : Hit the line hard and looks to be building up to a win.
