20161125 – Mandurah Friday

“Former Tasmanian Here’s Archie wins in WA”

Consistent sprinter from Tasmania Here’s Archie put it all together in tonight’s Truebody Mixed 3/4 Stake over 405m. Now trained out of Thornlie by Graeme Hall, the four year old son of El Grand Senor turned on the afterburners in the middle stages and sizzled past his opponents like a lightning bolt. Handy sprinters Katie Rose and Humphrey Bale suffered mild bouts of windburn when the black dog overtook them and he didn’t stop there, charging away to win by four lengths in 22.92. Race favourite Belfast Tommy ran on strongly to be the runner up ahead of Morris Memory who finished third. Here’s Archie has now started 4 times at Mandurah for 1 win and 3 minor placings. His career record now stands at 86 starts for 25 victories, 29 minor placings and over $46,000 in earnings.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 4 URANIUM : Showed zip in patches and obviously still has a lot to learn but is sure to win a maiden soon.

Race 6 Number 2 MAX PROFIT : Turns two in January and does everything right. Flew out and won the feature race in 22.56.
