THUNDERAMA (Hallucinate- Bananarama) has been a wonderful chaser for his connections and trainer John Iwanyk and tonight they celebrated his 150th start when he recorded his 37th win. The ageing star, who turned 5 years of age in September, jumped to the front and held off Yunderup Dozer by a neck in 27.77. MARYDOLL (Elite State- Flying Sienna) showed speed from box 1 and was able to lead throughout from her inside draw and with the favourite Quedos blowing the start, the race was over soon after they had jumped. The Corey White trained bitch clocked a slick 22.68 in the opening heat of The Shorts.

HELLO I’M LEO (Magic Sprite- Typhoon Monelli) dwelt at the start, however quickly mustered speed to be able to circle the field and hit the front going off the back straight. The Ben MacLean trained dog continued his good form and won by a length over Activator in 22.84.

MAX PROFIT (Fabregas- Belron Cedar) dominated a very smart field in winning the final heat of The Shorts for trainer Corey White. The black dog has now won 9 times from 11 starts and has finished second on the other two occasions. The black dog jumped well from box 1 and held out the slick Mique before winning by 3 1/4 lengths in 22.60.

The Box Draw for The Shorts will be done by the Grading Department on Tuesday.

Race 1 No 8 African Bull. Recorded his Maiden win for trainer Corey Siekman in 23.15 at his first try over the 405 metres.

Race 3 No 3 Gallari. Impressed with PB 22.85 win for trainer Andrew Mclaren.
