20160805 – Mandurah Friday

“Unbeaten run continues for Black Kyurem”

Oakford based trainer David Magistro continued his great run with former NSW greyhound Black Kyurem, winning his fifth consecutive race at Mandurah. The son of Cape Hawk overcame a fair jump to out-muster rivals and lead at the first turn before bursting away to win by seven lengths. His five victories have all occurred over 405m in swift times ranging from 22.65 to 22.89. His Maiden win resulted at Canberra in May and that was his only success from his first eleven career runs. After an eye-catching second at his WA debut at Cannington he has been faultless since switching to the Peel circuit. Flaming Sahara battled on to finish second tonight ahead of Wagtail Natalee but they were no match for Black Kyurem who looks set for top grade in the very near future.

RACE 3 NUMBER 1 KARON’S BOY : Zoomed to the front in the middle stages and ran a bold second.

RACE 4 NUMBER 6 SNAPPER RED : Settled a long way back before flashing home along the fence.
