“Something Epic flies over 405m”

Speedy son of Magic Sprite Something Epic was extremely impressive in winning tonight’s opening event, the Fast Fun Affordable Grade 5. He won twice last month over 509m at Northam in the fast times of 29.72 and 29.79 and was well supported tonight over the shorter trip. He was one of the first to jump and quickly assumed the role of pace maker. Race favourite Loony Moony whizzed across to second but Something Epic proved far too strong, winning by three lengths in a slick 22.53. Something Epic is trained out of Southern River by Steve Shinners and has now won 8 of 18 career starts.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 2 Number 2 BEIJING RULER : Rocketed home to claim a spectacular win.

Race 4 Number 8 TARKS CALIBER : Took some ground off Charos Tenetti who carved out a fast 22.59.
