Greyhounds WA may provide emergency kennel accommodation at our Cannington, Mandurah and Northam venues during events such as bushfires, where capacity allows and racing operations are not impacted. Purpose-built, air-conditioned kennels are available, with priority given to greyhounds and limited availability for other domestic dog breeds under strict welfare and safety requirements.
All dogs accepted for emergency accommodation must meet vaccination, health and behaviour criteria, and owners or representatives are required to complete an Owner Registration & Dog Intake Form as part of the intake process. Availability is assessed on a case-by-case basis to ensure the welfare of all animals and the integrity of Greyhounds WA operations .
