20201017 – Cannington Saturday – All Stars Sprint Heats

RACING PULSE (My Bro Fabio- Polly’s Girl) scored a 3 1/4 length win in 21.96 after crossing from box 7. The win continued the winning week for Michael Hine who also coached a winning premiership side in the local football league last weekend. The black dog is raced by The Meadows chairman Edwin Caruana and a syndicate of owners.

VARIATION (Fernando Bale- Uno Arjo) ran down the favourite Mild Marcus in the home straight to win by a half length in 30.14. The Krystal Shinners trained dog had been racing without luck and recorded his 3rd win in 13 starts in scoring.

FLAKE MONELLI (Fernando Bale- Dyna Sandy) went within a half length of Tornado Tears track record with an all the way victory scoring by 6 lengths over Jayville Slick in 41.29. The David Hobby trained bitch was having her 50th career start and she has now won 29 times, 18 of them this season at Cannington.

20201014 – Cannington Wednesday

20201012 – Cannington Monday – Vince Caruana WA Bred Country Cup

WISE FROST (Fernando Bale- Cosmic Wise) led throughout to record her maiden victory at her 7th race start. After having been placed twice, the Michael Hine trained bitch kicked up from box 1, holding out Seen The Odds, and scored by 1 1/2 lengths in 16.32. It was a big 24 hours for Hine who won his first premiership as coach of Mount Helena on Sunday.

CHAROS MOSCOW (Taylors Sky- Charos Tenetti) ended a losing sequence of 11 starts and recorded her win over the 380 metres with a half length victory over Hey There Sara in 22.33. The Murray Stewart trained bitch had to work across from her wide draw and ran down the leader in the straight to score.

RIPPED UP MOMENT (Rippin’ Sam- Luba Monelli) recorded another win when she shot to the front and scored by 2 lengths over One Eye Blink in a PB 16.10. The Phil Worthington trained dog won his Maiden 2 runs back before finishing an unlucky third at his next start.

20201011 – Sunday Cannington

20201010 – Cannington Saturday – Distance Potential

HISTORIC TIME (Kinloch Brae- She’s Historic) had to work hard on the outside of the leader Chimera Monelli before drawing to the front going along the back straight. The Enzo Crudeli trained dog won his heat in 34.77 and recorded a winning time in the final of the Distance Potential of 34.87. The black dog won by 2 1/2 lengths over Chimera Monelli and Hairpin Trigger.

INDY ORLANDO (Fernando Bale- Aeroplane Indy) was able to lead from box 6 and hold off the late challengers near the line. With the favourite Ready For Magic messing up the start,  the Joe Dailly trained bitch was able to work clear and then hold on to win by a neck in a PB 30.48.

ERASER BLADE (Tureaud- Bluey’s Fate) was able to cross from box 8 over the 380 metres and race clear of the trouble and score by 6 lengths over Not Quite Goldie in 22.15. The Barry McPherson trained dog had been racing without much luck and with clear running recorded his third win from 17 career starts.

UP AND ABOUT (Banjo Boy- Bells Are Ringin) was able to cross the field from his wide draw and lead throughout to score by 3/4 length over Just Wins Boss in 35.08. The Adam Smithson trained dog had been placed at 5 of his 6 prior starts over the 600 metres without being able to break through.
