“Hot Minute wins first up from a spell”
Talented chaser Hot Minute resumed over 488m at Mandurah tonight and after a clean getaway was able to make every post a winner from box six. The daughter of Tommy Shelby hadn’t raced since last July when beaten 15 lengths by freak young chaser Gideon Monelli. Back in March she won over 488m in a promising 27.39 and tonight clocked a slightly slower time of 27.53. Outsider This Bad Boy was basically second throughout and was beaten four lengths and a length away third was Blue Denim. Hot Minute is from an excellent young litter (Tommy Shelby x West On Poppy) that includes Choosing Texas (8 wins), Hard to Forget (5 wins) and Heartbreak Honey (4 wins).
