“Off To School wins first up for Jodie Reichard”
Speedy sprinter Off To School managed just two podium results from his first six starts over 400m at Mandurah. In late June he rocketed to an early lead and recorded a sizzling first split of 6.32 before running second to Global Force when beaten three quarters of a length. Tonight he was resuming from an injury enforced spell after pulling up sore when seventh back on July 21. He was dropping to 300m and after a clean getaway mustered to an outright lead before winning by one length in a handy 17.24. Manado’s Girl stuck on well to be the runner up and seven lengths away in third was Idiosyncracy. Off To School is from the same litter as handy chasers He’s A Hooligan, Goes Bang, Nera Carney and Telling Tales.
