“Off Shore leads throughout for Pete Brown”

Off Shore speared out of the boxes to find an early lead before winning tonight’s TABtouch Bet Loop Provincial Novice over 488m. The daughter of Tommy Shelby looked vulnerable at the top of the home straight when Mr. Mysterio hooked off her back to challenge but found enough to win by half a length. She posted 27.80 and ended a losing sequence of 17 for her new Southern River based trainer Pete Brown. Mr. Mysterio finished second for Ben MacLean and another length away third was the Lewis Clay prepared Rock On Tommy. Off Shore was one of three winners Pete Brown trained tonight with Tequila Twist and Jolly Ollie both saluting over 400m too.
