“Black Havoc rails to victory for Tayzha Hodgson”
Consistent placegetter Black Havoc overcame a sluggish start to win tonight’s opening event, the Free Entry TABtouch Park Country Novice. The black daughter of Tommy Shelby had been winless at her 11 previous Mandurah starts but had made the podium on 7 occasions. Tonight she was able to take the shortest way home and zoom to the lead in the home straight and score in 17.52. She won by more than a length over Dodgy Willow and a neck away third was initial leader Zatara Fire. Black Havoc is owned and trained out of Nambeelup by Tayzha Hodgson who has enjoyed success in the past with Jonah Takalua, Quest For Steps, Canya Celeste and Rocklands Misty.
