“Mabel Monelli lights up Mandurah”

Smart sprinter Mabel Monelli chalked up her third successive victory tonight when she led throughout from box one in a slick 22.32. She returned from three months off on August 12 with a victory in 22.43 and last week overcame an early bump to score in 22.51. Tonight from the red she enjoyed an uninterrupted passage to the first turn and was able to glide to a new PB. The daughter of Amron Boy has now won 7 of 10 over the 400m distance. Her mother Sunset Wildfire has mothered some super greyhounds including Gideon Monelli, Sunset Capone, Sunset Lightfoot, Sunset Vendetta and Cypher Monelli.
