The son of My Redeemer hadn’t won for thirteen starts but only five starts back was competing against Free For All company. Tonight the Nambeelup based chaser dropped to Grade 6 company and after a fast getaway was able to lead throughout in a handy time of 17.30. The John Graham trained Man About Town battled on well for second and two lengths away third was the Darryl Jeffries prepared Junk Yard Lorain. Red Ned Gundi has now won 12 of 84 career starts and is a full brother to smart types Must Be Speedy (15 wins), Hugo Gundi (11 wins) and Oliver Gundi (7 wins).
