“Telling Tales breaks through for Jodie Reichard”

Speedy youngster Telling Tales took full advantage of box one tonight, winning the Tyres & More Mandurah 300m Maiden. The daughter of Feral Franky was well backed into a clear odds-on favourite but missed the kick. Zatara Fire flew out to lead and was challenged by Mr Flame turning for home before Telling Tales made her move on their inside. She pushed through to win her maiden by a neck over Zatara Fire and a half head away in third was Mr Flame. Telling Tales is out of Hot Shot Heather who was also raced by Reichard, winning 8 of 40 career starts. Telling Tales is a full sister to All For Del who ran second in tonight’s opening event behind Dodgy Blue. Other handy prospects from the litter include Nera Carney, Goes Bang, He’s A Hooligan and No Truth Here.
