“Athenian Blade rails to Provincial Novice Victory”

The Enzo Crudeli trained Athenian Blade recovered from a moderate jump to win tonight’s Fuller Fitness Provincial 381m Novice. The speedy Stubborn Mouse flew out of box five and was in front on entering the back straight but Athenian Blade had mustered quickly to be in second position. Leaving the back straight Athenian Blade railed to a narrow lead before booting away at the top of the home straight and winning by a length. She posted a handy 22.20 and brought up her second career win from just four starts. Athenian Blade was sired by Koblenz and is out of Speed Missile who has produced some highly talented chasers in the past like Biscotti Blast, Militaries, Lady Freya, Fidel Pronto and Kratos Missile.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Trial 1 Number 7 VIOLET’S FRANKY : Won by four lengths in a promising time of 21.79.

Race 5 Number 2 CANYA REDLINE : Surged home from last early to win his second novice over 520m.
