“Tony Scott trains an early double”

Nambeelup based trainer Tony Scott prepared the first two winners tonight in the form of Just Too Good and Blue Lace. Both victories resulted over 300m with Just Too Good winning the first event brilliantly by six lengths. The daughter of Tommy Shelby flew out of box three and set the pace before charging clear to win comfortably in a slick time of 17.29. Twenty minutes later Blue Lace performed similarly, leading throughout from box five in a handy time of 17.33 which was half a length slower than Just Too Good. Both chasers built on their excellent records over the 300m distance now having won 7 of 22 and 8 of 30 respectively. Scott has enjoyed plenty of training success in the past with the likes of All The Rave, Gold Smirch, Burn The Jetts, Smirch Birch and Truly Amazing.
