“Solid Axle impresses for Damien Crudeli”

Nambeelup based trainer Damien Crudeli achieved a race-to-race double tonight, winning races 5 and 6 with Chi Chi Doll and Solid Axle respectively. Chi Chi Doll displayed awesome mid-race speed to win over 400m and record a smart time of 22.71. Solid Axle, despite jumping at 20/1 began cleanly from box seven before mustering around his rivals and finding an outright lead. The son of Aston Rupee when dashed away and was able to score comfortably over 488m in 27.59. He saluted by three lengths over Lenny’s Bud and another two lengths away third was Sunset Augustus. Crudeli has enjoyed another very successful season, having already prepared 61 winners this calendar year.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Trial 1 Number 3 REGINALD BARKLEY : Could not have exploded out of the boxes any quicker, and then clocked a promising 22.50.

Race 2 Number 4 CLASSIC GEM : Was a victim of circumstances early before making up a lot of ground late.
