“Scratch Daddy wins on debut for Enzo Crudeli”

First starter Scratch Daddy was well backed to win tonight’s All Torque Engineering Maiden over 400m from box two. The son of Orson Allen began well and held out challenges at the first turn to maintain the inside advantage. The Sharon Wells prepared Global Force faced the breeze but couldn’t match Scratch Daddy in the home straight. Scratch Daddy dashed away to win by two lengths in a handy time of 22.83. He is raced by Enzo Crudeli and the Ten Eighty Syndicate out of Nambeelup. Akachi, his mother was an honest short-courser who notched up 23 wins from 133 starts over short distances.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Trial 1 Number 8 HANG TIGHT HONEY : Worked hard from the wide alley to eventually get to the lead and win in 22.74.

Race 3 Number 7 CORTINA ACKEE : Flew out and led throughout in a promising 22.55 for Hayley Atkins.
