“Szyslak returns to the winner’s list for Jesse Erenshaw”
Honest sprinter Szyslak chalked up his third career victory in tonight’s TABtouch BetLoop Provincial Novice over 400m. The son of Bernardo resumed from a three month break on June 4 and after finding first turn bother regrouped to run a nice third behind kennel-mate Nyota. Tonight from box seven he began cleanly and settled second at the first turn before bursting to the front at half way. Named in honour of Moe Szyslak from The Simpsons, he then sailed clear of his opponents to score by four lengths in an equal PB of 22.77. The Damien Crudeli trained Chi Chi Doll ran second and a length away third was the Eric Campana prepared Lenny’s Bud.
