“Boss Deluxe wins again for Kellie Buckwell”

Vastly improved sprinter Boss Deluxe made light work of tonight’s opposition when he won the Get Your Quaddie On Country 5 over 400m. The son of Bernardo won last week in a very brisk time of 22.18, defeating the talented Hong Kong Phooey by eight lengths. Given that brilliant performance he was sent out at the prohibitive odds of $1.30 and he didn’t let his backers down. He shouldered through on the inside at the first turn and then bolted clear to win by four lengths in 22.31. Blue And Boujee ran second for Margaret Hepple and three lengths away third was the David Hobby trained Sunset Claudius. Boss Deluxe has now won 5 of 14 over the 400m distance at Mandurah and his times suggest he is headed for Free For All company.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 3 JUST A FAVOUR : Resumed with an excellent win over 300m for Gary Nelson.

Race 2 Number 4 SZYSLAK : Didn’t enjoy much luck in running but still managed to finish a nice third after a few months off.
