“Lightning Dash wins again for Eric Campana”

Promising sprinter Lightning Dash defeated a top field in tonight’s TABtouch Bet Loop Provincial Novice over 400m. The son of Shima Shine won on debut two weeks ago and led throughout in a handy 22.64. Last week he began moderately before finishing third and tonight from box one made every post a winner, winning by three lengths in a terrific time of 22.49. Wide tracker Nera Carney ran second for Andrew McLaren and six lengths away third was Sassy Chassis. Lightning Dash is out of Lavishly who won 6 of her 20 career starts and was a litter sister to She’s Shrewd who was a winner of 10 races in New South Wales.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Trial 1 Number 6 HE’S A HOOLIGAN : Flew from the boxes and led all the way in 22.63 with a winning margin of eleven lengths.

Race 3 Number 2 MATTE BLACK : Made up plenty of ground late to finish on the heels of the placegetters, looks ready to win.
