“My Boy Beast delivers over 400m for Damien Crudeli”

Damien Crudeli has done a marvelous job with the training of talented sprinter My Boy Beast. The son of Aston Rupee made a big start to his career, winning 5 of his first 7 career starts over 400m. He didn’t race last December or January and resumed on February 9 when he met with interference and finished at the rear. Last month he won twice over 300m including a Free For All victory before stepping back up to 400m. Tonight he left cleanly from box two and found the front before holding off a late challenge from Shepherd’s Way. My Boy Beast recorded a fast 22.50 which is just one length outside of his previous PB of 22.45 set back in November. It was Crudeli’s third win of the night after Solid Axle and Sweet As Elle won their maidens earlier in the evening.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 2 Number 7 NO LAGGING : Was well backed into $1.55 fixed odds and after missing the kick showed extreme mid-race speed before finishing second.

Race 5 Number 7 BLACK SKIVVY : Was first up since December and recovered from a poor jump to win by four lengths.
