“Miss Envy powers into Lew Dorsa Memorial Final”
Super greyhound Miss Envy prevailed in tonight’s first heat of the Lew Dorsa Memorial for Krystal Shinners. The $800,000 earner began only fairly but was able to work into second position past the catching pen behind leader Our Ozzie Salute. She took a while but was able to reel in and overtake Our Ozzie Salute in the shadows of the post. Miss Envy scored by half a length over Our Ozzie Salute and a length away third was Iconic Jet. Miss Envy put in a monster run in The Sandgroper at her previous start, making up many lengths on Canya Excite Me after settling well back in the early stages. She is sure to benefit from the hit-out and strip fitter next Saturday. Heat Two was a one-act affair with Mailata leading all the way and winning by five lengths over Burnt Passion and Timmy Tesla.

Race 2 Number 3 ALLABOUT COAL : Made up many lengths to finish a close up third over 601m.
Race 5 Number 1 LINGUINE MONELLI : Stormed home to be fourth against elite opposition.
