“Steve Withers Quinellas Maiden Final”

Smart young full sisters Choosing Texas and Hot Minute finished first and second respectively in tonight’s All Torque Engineering Maiden Final over 400m. Both chasers are raced by the After Party Syndicate and are trained by Casuarina trainer Steve Withers. Choosing Texas began cleanly before holding out Pop Diva at the first turn and going on to score by three lengths. Hot Minute charged home to be the runner up and two lengths away was the fading Pop Diva. Choosing Texas recorded a sizzling 22.35 last week and 22.59 this evening. The pair were sired by Tommy Shelby and are out of West On Poppy who has already produced a top greyhound in the form of Uncle Tommy who has earned over $470,000.
