“Cleary Keeping lights up Mandurah for Victoria Cook”

Former NSW based chaser Cleary Keeping was a very impressive winner in tonight’s Thursdays At Mandurah Country Novice over 300m. The son of Tommy Shelby won his maiden over 318m at Dubbo in November and was heavily supported first up in WA tonight. He jumped a $1.24 fixed odds favourite and after exploding out of the boxes was never in any doubt of winning the race. The Victoria Cook prepared chaser won by 7.75 lengths over Beyond The Stars and a length away third was Nitro’s Izzy. Cleary Keeping clocked a promising 17.11 and looks set to climb up to FFA company in no time.
