“Just Must delivers at his Mandurah debut for Peter Glenny”
Bakers Hill based trainer Peter Glenny took out tonight’s Signup WA Country 6 over 400m with Just Must. The son of Hard Style Rico began well and was second at the first turn before whizzing to the front at half way. Katitjin set the pace for David Hobby but couldn’t match Just Must in the middle stages and lost touch with the leader just before straightening. West On Burnie made ground in the home straight but Just Must won in tidy fashion by one length. West On Burnie claimed second ahead of the fading Katitjin. Just Must posted a solid time of 22.74 over the 400m distance and will only improve given it was his first race start at Mandurah. Peter Glenny has been training greyhounds for a long time and has enjoyed success in the past with the likes of Silent Glade, Blackwood Burst, Mocha, Sienna Glade, Bushman’s Luck, Venetian and Bushman’s Pride.
HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :
Race 2 Number 7 BLUE DENIM : Had nowhere to go in the home straight and finished an unlucky second.
Race 5 Number 4 LET ME COOK : Pinged out again and ran a gallant second in good time, is very ready to win.
