YUNDERUP POCKETS (Vanderworp-Volute) began well from box 6 and crossed to lead into the first corner. The Chris Halse trained bitch then raced clear to win her Maiden by 5 lengths over Speedy Pongo in 30.23.

HURRY UP ERIC (Vanderworp-Volute) hustled through from box 1 and held 5the lead going past the judge the first time around. The Linda Britton trained chaser then dropped off his rivals to score by 6 1/4 lengths in a PB 29.65. The win was his second from three career starts.

PANADERO MAGIC (Aston Dee Bee-Panadero Opal) missed the trouble driving into the first corner and led throughout over the 601 metres. The Adam Smithson trained dog defeated Just a Nuisance by 1 1/4 lengths in 34.82.

OUR AUSSIE SALUTE (Aussie Infrared-Fabs Gem) was able to have his head down at the right time when he and Iconic Guess hit the line in the final of the Greyhounds WA Sandi’s Me Mum Memorial. The Jamie Marsh trained dog won by a neck in 29.78 with another of his runners Mailata back in third place.
