“Sunset Vanadium takes out Maiden Final for David Hobby”

Leading based Nambeelup trainer David Hobby took out tonight’s All Torque Engineering Maiden Final with Sunset Vanadium. The 34kg black son of Sunset Spitfire won his heat last Tuesday in 22.83 and improved on that time tonight, clocking a promising 22.62. He showed a lot of mid race speed to shrug off challengers Perpetuus (second) and Terra Firma (third). Sunset Vanadium’s mother Ruby Monelli has been a handy producer, mothering twelve separate winners from three separate litters. She also won nine races herself including a 520m Cannington victory posted in a slick 29.77.

Race 3 Number 4 QUEEN POTATO : Bounced back with a stunning all the way victory in 17.19.
