LANSLEY WHISPER (Shima Shine-Lacrymosa) railed perfectly around the home corner before breaking through the Maiden barrier. The John Graham trained bitch started an Odds on favourite and defeated Aussie Collins by 2 lengths in 17.59.

PENNY PINCHER (Aussie Infrared-Only A Guess) led throughout from box 3 and recorded a smart 6 1/4 length win over Remote Stealer in 17.17. The Ben MacLean trained bitch had not won since an easy winner at Northam in late October.

LUXIO WAVE (Fernando Bale-Elusive Wave) ended a run of placings and a losing sequence of 27 starts when he led throughout from his beloved box 1. The Kellie Buckwell trained chase defeated Lil Miss Sophie by 7 1/4 lengths in a PB 22.58 at start 99. The blue dog has now won 7 of his 9 career victories from box 1.
