“Sheeran Melody wins again for Enzo Crudeli”

Promising sprinter Sheeran Melody chalked up his fifth win in the space of six starts tonight when he took out the Tommy Shelby At Stud Provincial 5 over 400m. The son of Aussie Infrared jumped only moderately before scooting through on the inside of rivals at the first turn to lead. He dashed away from second favourite Geordie Lad and saluted by three lengths in 22.56. Outsider and noted slow beginner Monteleone weaved his way through traffic to finish third and returned $3.70 a place. Sheeran Melody was sired by Aussie Infrared and is out of excellent race bitch Wicked Rhythm who won 18 races at Cannington and over $127,000 in stakes.
