QUEST FOR STEPS (Tommy Shelby-Stepping) broke her Maiden status when the former Victorian drove past the leader Epic Marceline in the straight to record a 3 1/2 length victory in 17.48. The black bitch is now in the care of Gary Nelson and was having just her second start in WA.

GIGABYTE (Zack Monelli-Overbite) kicked up and led from box 1 before scoring a dominant win. The Greg Horne trained dog recorded his second career victory defeating Mako Eiffler by 4 3/4 lengths in 22.68. KAKEGURUI (Bernardo-Georgia Rose) tan down the leader Nitro’s Izzy in the straight scoring by 1 1/4 lengths in 17.27. The win gave trainer Gary Nelson an early winning double and the brindle dog has won 3 times in 14 career outings.
