“Man About Town rails to victory for John Graham”

Handy Mandurah track specialist Man About Town finished strongly to win tonight’s Get Your Quaddie On Country 5 over 400m. It was a very strong lineup for a Country Grade 5 event with all eight runners having won recently and 4 of them having won at their last outing. Race favourites Evander Keeping (box 2) and Brave Annie (box 7) matched strides from the word go and were level pegging as they entered the home straight before a gap appeared on the inside for Man About Town. He shot through to take over and win by half a length in a solid time of 22.80. Evander Keeping held second over Brave Annie in a photo finish. Man About Town is raced by Glen and John Graham and has now won 6 of 29 career starts.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 1 Number 2 CHERRY BELLE : Won easily on debut by five lengths for Kevin Phillips.

Race 4 Number 7 PROPULSIVE : Scared the favourite Zatara’s Image but lost narrowly, is racing in peak form.
