“Crenshaw King wins again for Ben MacLean”

Handy sprinter Crenshaw King made it successive wins tonight when he defeated a quality field in the Get Your Quaddie On Provincial Novice over 400m. Up against the likes of Brave Annie, Don’t Play Games, Impress Seminyak and Moo Move, winning wasn’t going to be easy despite drawing nicely in box two. He began moderately and settled close enough to take the lead in the middle stages before breaking away at the top of the straight and winning by half a length in 22.79. Moo Move stayed wide throughout from box eight and ran second with Don’t Play Games two lengths away in third position. Crenshaw King clocked a faster 22.66 last Tuesday when he took an outright lead from box one and won’t take long to zoom up the grades, he is raced by Ben and Amanda MacLean and looks to be in for a bright future.

Race 1 Number 1 SUNSET VIBE : Led throughout in easy fashion, clocking 17.22 over the 300m journey.

Race 6 Number 4 SON OF MANADO : Got wiped out just before straightening and looked unlucky.
