“Just A Joker wins first up for Kellie Buckwell”

Nicely bred youngster Just A Joker took out tonight’s All Torque Engineering Provincial Maiden over 488m for his new trainer Kellie Buckwell. He was placed in 3 of his 8 previous starts for Chris Halse and tonight with some luck in running was able to break through in solid fashion. He worked his way to the front at half way before holding off litter sister and race favourite Just A Princess in the run to the line. The winning margin was one length and two lengths away in third position was first starter Dodgy Shadow. Just A Joker is owned by Justin Warwick and has only just turned two years of age.

HOUNDS TO FOLLOW :

Race 3 Number 5 BERN WEST BOLTER : Took out the 400m maiden final in a slick time of 22.32.

Race 5 Number 1 DIVOT : Was well supported from box one and won brilliantly in a fast 22.32.
