“Nitro’s Ruby posts a new PB for Tania Thomas”

Pint-sized sprinter Nitro’s Ruby recorded a new PB over 300m tonight from box one. The daughter of Ritza Lenny hadn’t won for a while but drew perfectly and after a clean getaway drove through on the inside to find the front. Race favourite Incredible Mouse was in hot pursuit but wobbled wide at the top of the straight which allowed Nitro’s Ruby to glide to victory. The Tania Thomas prepared chaser clocked a fast 17.08 and scored by two lengths over Incredible Mouse (2nd) and Esperance Ace (3rd). Nitro’s Ruby is a rising five year old who has now won 16 of 91 career starts for owner Clint Reynolds. Tania Thomas has enjoyed plenty of training success in the past with the likes of Dandalup Casper, Activator, Dandalup Annie, Collectonator and Slobber Chops.
