FLOP SHOT (Aussie Infrared-Torza) recovered from a moderate start to lead into the first corner. The Lewis Clay trained dog had finished second at his first two race starts before defeating Flame On by 4 1/4 lengths in 30.46.
THINK POSITIVE (Benali-Burning Passion) led from his wide draw before dropping off his rivals and racing away for an effortless win. The Chris Halse trained dog had recorded both of his victories from inside draws before he defeated Take My Advice by 3 3/4 lengths in 30.25.
CAREER HIGHLIGHT (Tommy Shelby-Joker Poker) also led from box 7 and raced away from his rivals along the back straight. The Steve Withers trained dog has now won at his last 3 starts after being beaten as an Odds on favourite on debut in June. The blue dog defeated Rambo’s Shout by 8 lengths in 30.35.
ASTON NERO (Aussie Infrared-Fantastic Dotty) held up from box 4 in the opening heat of the Greyhounds WA, WA Sprint Championship. The Kody Charles trained dog raced clear of his rivals down the back straight after last years National Sprint winner and race favourite Miss Envy was severely checked on the first corner. The black defeated Junk Yard Clyde By 3 1/4 lengths in 30.30.
