“Come Find Me wins first heat of the Kanyana Cup”
Box one proved to be worth it’s weight in gold tonight for ex-Victorian Come Find Me who led throughout in Heat One of the Kanyana Cup. The Damien Crudeli prepared chaser began cleanly, found the front and glided to victory over the 488m distance in 27.66. Reiko Tedesco railed home stylishly for second beaten three lengths and another two lengths away third was Sunset Owlet who was posted wide from box eight. Come Find Me is raced by the Champagne Syndicate and has built up an excellent career record of 6 wins and 15 minor placings from 31 starts. Heat Two was also won by a Damien Crudeli trained runner with Fleetwood Kazak leading all the way in 27.59. Heat Three was won brilliantly by the Morgan Turner trained Toad who flew out and led all the way in 27.39. The box draw for next Fridays’s Kanyana Cup Final :
