“Sunset Bubbles wins FFA for Pete Brown”

Speedy bitch Sunset Bubbles joined an esteemed group of greyhounds tonight, winning her twentieth race for Southern River based trainer Pete Brown. She had been starting as one of the favourites in 300m FFA company at recent starts but because of box six tonight was sent out at the generous odds of $21. The daughter of Hard Style Rico flew across from her wide draw and was able to find the front before winning by 2.50 lengths in 17.08. Veteran Simplicity railed home strongly for second and a length away third was Ned. Sunset Bubbles has now started 79 times for the impeccable record of 20 wins, 18 seconds, 9 thirds and more than $59,000 in career earnings.
