Ex-NSW based chaser Graceful Reign found her race tonight over 488m at Mandurah. She had been placed at her previous four starts behind some smart types and was heavily supported into a $1.65 fixed odds favourite with TABtouch. From box three she began nicely and settled second on the outside of initial leader Katitjin before soaring to the front in the back straight. The daughter of Aston Rupee exploded away from her rivals and scored by 6.25 lengths over Katitjin and Aussie Tan. Her time of 27.48 was a new PB and she is sure to gain plenty of confidence from the outing. HOUNDS TO FOLLOW : Race 3 Number 1 JUST A BABE : Appreciated the switch from Cannington to Mandurah and led throughout to win by five lengths. Race 4 Number 9 INCREDIBLE GLORY : Powered away late to win comfortably over 300m for Fran Farrell. Ryan Levitzke (commentator)
